AudioCodes SBCs Gets SAP Contact Center Certification
SAP Labs Finland has certified the AudioCodes (News 
- Alert) Mediant session border controller as compatible with SAP Contact Center software. The SBC connects the software to SIP trunking services.
As Alan Percy (News - Alert), AudioCodes senior director of marketing, wrote in the September issue of TMC’s CUSTOMER magazine, SIP trunking is widely recognized as an alternative to legacy PRI circuits, delivering voice services to businesses over IP at reduced costs with greater flexibility. And demarcation for SIP trunks is a natural role for enterprise session border controllers.
Yehuda Herscovici, vice president of product at AudioCodes, said the certification marks are an important milestone demonstrating his company’s vision to provide secured connectivity for on-premises and cloud-based contact centers.
