Making millionaires is nice, but global domination is the goal
The sale of Chicago-based Fieldglass Inc. to German technology company SAP AG last month has created a second crop of rich guys at the software firm. Once transaction bonuses are handed out and option vesting calculations are made, some employees from the company's finance, marketing, sales and product-development departments will have gained more than $1 million. Many have been with the company since it was founded in the baby room of Jai Shekhawat's home 15 years ago.
