SAP Australia, a subsidiary of the German ERP giant, has established a major data centre in Sydney as part of its Asia Pacific expansion strategy.

The local data centre will provide SAP a competitive advantage by addressing concerns around data sovereignty where enterprise clients, particularly Australian public sector organisations, are reluctant to have their data hosted offshore.
