SAP Furthers Cloud Push With Release of New Service Pack for SAP HANA

SAP has been laser focused on the cloud recently and now the company has announced a number of enhancements to the SAP HANA platform enabling mobile, analytics and cloud integration services. The upgrades are coming in the form of service pack 8 (SP8) for SAP HANA and play on the strengths of the company’s vast ecosystem of partners.

The upgrades come after SAP’s announcement this week that it has formed an Industry Cloud organization that will enable customers and partners to be involved in the cloud innovation process. The goal will be to create specialized solutions to run on SAP Cloud powered by SAP HANA, and the new enhancements will play an integral role in the process.
